Dhaka: The Mughal Capital of Bengal

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, first earned the honor of being a capital. The city has many landmarks from the Palas, the Senas, the Mughals, and the British. Some of them are world-renowned.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Dhaka by a morning flight and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon, drive to the river Padma and view the newly built Padma Bridge. You can cruise this river and enjoy the serene beauty and the pleasant sunset. Take your dinner in a local restaurant, with freshly fried Hilsa fish and items of Hilsa, like eggs, smashed tail, etc.
  • Day 2: City Tour: After Breakfast, visit old Dhaka, the Ramkrishna Mission, Lalbagh Fort, Curzon Hall, Sahid Minar, Dhaka Gate, and Dhakeshwari Temple. Lunch and then visit the Bangabandhu Museum or Muktijuddha Museum.
  • Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Barodi, the burial of the Hindu saint, Lokhnath, and the old capital of Bengal Sonargaon. Afternoon free for shopping.
  • Day 4: After breakfast, free time till the departure time.

The Beach Beauty

Cox’s Bazar is the longest unbroken beach in the world. You will love the place. You spend time on the beach and driving through the marine drive for the enchanting view. Local seafood will fulfill your taste buds. Visit the temples and the islands.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Dhaka and transfer to the Hotel.
  • Day 2: City Tour: After Breakfast, visit old Dhaka, the Ramkrishna Mission, Lalbagh Fort, Curzon Hall, Sahid Minar, Dhaka Gate, and Dhakeshwari Temple. Lunch and then visit the Bangabandhu Museum or Muktijuddha Museum.
  • Day 3: Start Early in the morning and visit Barodi Lokbaba Asram and Sonargaon. Drive to Chittagong. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day 4: Morning visit the Chatteshwari Temple and Court Building, then drive to Cox’s Bazar. En route the temples in Ramu. Check in to the hotel.
  • Day 5: Morning visit to Moheshkhali island by speed boat. Visit Adinath Hindy Temple and local tribes and their handloom. Return to Cox’s Bazar. Afternoon drive through the Marine Road and visit Inani and beyond. Sunset and return to Cox’s Bazar.
  • Day 6: Morning leaves Cox’s Bazar for Dhaka. Lunch break in Comilla and visit the Salban Vihar. Afternoon arrivesin Dhaka.
  • Day 7: Transfer to Airport.

Hills and Beach

The Chattagram Hill Tracts is an excellent natural areas.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Dhaka and transfer to the Hotel.
  • Day 2: City Tour: After Breakfast, visit old Dhaka, the Ramkrishna Mission, Lalbagh Fort, Curzon Hall, Sahid Minar, Dhaka Gate, and Dhakeshwari Temple. Lunch and then visit the Bangabandhu Museum or Muktijuddha Museum.
  • Day 3: Start Early in the morning and visit Barodi Lokbaba Asram and Sonargaon. Drive to Chittagong. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day 4: Morning start for Rangamati. Arrive Rangmamati in the afternoon and check in Hotel. Afternoon, visit the Tribal King’s palace and the Buddhist Khyang. And local Handicraft shops.
  • Day 5: Morning cruise in the Kaptai lake for 2 hours and then drive to Bandarban through the scenic road. Arrive Bandarban, visit the local hill for sunset and the Buddhist temple.
  • Day 6: Morning, drive to Chimbuk. Afternoon drive to Cox’s Bazar. Evening arrivesat Cox’s Bazar and transfers to Hotel.
  • Day 7: Visit Moheshkhali Island by speed boat. Visit Adinath temple on the hilltop, tribal village, and return. After lunch drive the Marine Drive Road.
  • Day 8: Return to Dhaka by road. Stop in Comilla for a break and lunch. Afternoon reach Dhaka.
  • Day 9: Transfer to the airport.

Sunderbans of Bangladesh

The Sundarbans of Bangladesh, a UNESCO site, is the world’s largest mangrove forest, home to Bengal tigers and diverse wildlife, crucial for coastal protection and local livelihoods.

  • Day 1: Arrive at Benapole Border. You will be picked up and driven to Mongla Port. Onboard the awaiting motor launch with Cabins. Cruise starts and then finishes Forest permission formalities. Continue the journey into the largest mangrove forest in the world. Stop at a suitable point.
  • Day 2: Resume journey and reach Kotka. Start forest activities. Walk the backyard of the Forest Office. Explore the place and visit the Tigers den, overnight on Board. BBQ will be served tonight.
  • Day 3: Enjoy a boat trip on the canal early in the morning and see the wildlife and birds. After breakfast walk through the forest to the beach. Cruise back to Mongla. Arrive in Mongla and Drive to Dhaka. Check into the Hotel late evening.
  • Day 4: Morning Sightseeing of Dhaka for Half day. Afternoon free for shopping.
  • Day 5: Transfer to Airport for flight back to Kolkata.

The Tea Gardens

Bangladesh is the continuation of Assam Tea and in Bangladesh Sylhet is the major tea harvesting area. Srimongal is treated as the tea capital of Bangladesh. Sylhet has large wetlands which are also included in the Ramsas site. Nature has bestowed.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Dhaka and transfer to the Hotel.
  • Day 2: City Tour: After Breakfast, visit old Dhaka, the Ramkrishna Mission, Lalbagh Fort, Curzon Hall, Sahid Minar, Dhaka Gate, and Dhakeshwari Temple. Lunch and then visit the Bangabandhu Museum or Muktijuddha Museum.
  • Day 3: Start Early in the morning and visit Barodi Lokbaba Asram and Sonargaon. Drive to Srimongal. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day 4: Morning visit the Lawachara Forest, see the Gibbons and other wildlife. Visit the Garo village. Afternoon visit the tea Gardens and Madhabpur lake. Drive to Sylhet.
  • Day 5: Visit to natural area like Sada Pathar and boating on the Sweet water swamp of Ratargul.
  • Day-6: Return to Dhaka or you can cross into India through Dawki border to Shillong.
